README of NB310.ZIP
This README file accompanies NETBIOS.EXE v3.10. The following files
are included for this release:
NETBIOS EXE 22412 5-18-92 3:26p
NB310 DOC (This file)
DESCRIPTION:
The above file represents Novell Network BIOS Emulator v3.1 for DOS.
This version contains fixes made in the previous version (v3.02C)
as well as these additional fixes.
1) This version correctly displays parameters encountered in the
NET.CFG file. Previous versions correctly applied parameters
from the NET.CFG file, but would sometimes garble the parameters
on the screen.
2) This version corrected a problem that had been fixed in the OS/2
version for some time. At times, the Adaptor Status command
would return an error code of 06 (short buffer) when it should
have returned a 00.
3) This version fixes the problem that occured while running
with Artisoft LANtastic for Netware where the work station
would hang with the error:
"!!!NetBIOS ABEND FreeIPXBlock - already on free list, during file copy."
TO INSTALL:
NetBIOS V3.1 should replace any previous versions of Novell's
NetBIOS on your network. To install just copy this NETBIOS.EXE
file over any existing ones.
